South Seas Resort Wedding | Captiva Island Photographer
I will never get enough of this quaint Southwest Florida island. Captiva Island is my favorite of the local islands. It's small, charming, mostly quiet but filled with fun things to do. I find myself on Captiva for weddings and family portrait shoots several days a week. Yesterday I found myself on Captiva just for fun though. My husband and I headed to the Old Captiva House at Tween Waters for dinner followed by the crab races. Crab races are a very Captiva Island event held every Monday and Thursday nights at the Crow's Nest (the bar at Tween Waters). If you are planning a vacation or destination wedding to Sanibel or Captiva Island you definitely need to check out the crab races. It's a uniquely Captiva Island activity that you just have to experience to understand! And of course I've also photographed many Captiva Island weddings that have given me some of the best memories from the islands. This adorable couple was married at South Seas Resort on the very tip of Captiva Island. South Seas will always hold a special place in my heart because of all of the great friends and fabulous destination weddings that I've photographed at this island wedding venue. So if you are planning a Captiva Island wedding definitely consider Impressions Photography for your wedding photography service! I love photographing love at this most romantic corner of the world. Or if you just want somebody to grab a cocktail with, count me in for that too! I'm always happy to catch the sunset and a drink at the Mucky Duck, you don't have to ask me twice :)
