Hello Sanibel Island romance! So this couple gets all the heart eyes for
pulling off the sweetest destination wedding in just a few weeks. Yes,
weeks. Courtney and Mike hired me about three weeks before they were to
tie the knot on Sanibel. They brought their closest friends and family
from New York down to the Sunshine State to make some of the best
memories. The intimate wedding group gathered on the beach at
Casa Ybel Resort where the resorts boardwalk made the perfect aisle for Courtney to make her way down to see her groom waiting for her on the beach. Dr. Dan Lamey officiated a lovely and personal ceremony that concluded with a lot of cheers and a group photograph on the lawn at Casa Ybel Resort. The day was everything a Sanibel Island destination wedding should be, laid back, nature filled and very tropical. We incorporated a lot of that Sanibel vibe into the couples pictures too. Palm trees, lush vegetation and of course the beach gave us that perfect variety of tropical wedding pictures. After some fun wedding photographs (and sandy toes) we all headed inside Casa Ybel's famed Thistle Lodge for an evening celebration. Although the group was intimate the party was huge. The Impressions Photography team left shortly after Courtney and Mike had cut their wedding cake but even that late in the evening the dance floor was still packed and everyone looked like they were in no rush to end the celebration!
