If you are getting the entire family together and heading to Southwest Florida it seems like professional family pictures should be one of the first things you reserve. Of course I love photography, so I'll always say that, but I think most people would agree that when you plan something this special it should definitely be photographed. This family did plan ahead and reserved my services months in advance of their trip to South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island. We had a great picture plan and talked about the different combinations of family groups that they would want to capture. We picked a location at the resort right on the beach and then met there for a full hour of pictures. We captured different combinations of the group and each individual family as well as fun candid pictures of everyone just enjoying their time together. Although we had initially planned for a sunset photo shoot weather had a different idea. Luckly our mornings on Captiva Island are just as stunning, so we rescheduled to a morning photo shoot and it actually worked out even better than we could have imagined.
