The past 3 months have been a bit of a whirlwind (hence the lack of posts on the blog). Things aren't necessarily slowing down for Impressions Photography either, just transitioning a little! The fall is always a busy time for weddings, fabulous weather all over the country makes it a perfect time for a wedding and I literally was all over the country for these fabulous events. I was actually never even in the same state two weeks in a row! Lots of airplanes, a few long car rides and more fast food than I should admit to but I survived some crazy weekdays that led to some incredible weekend weddings. Now that the travel is behind me and I have a few weeks without an airplane I'm heading into a new "season", family portrait season! Every year around this time I have tons of beach portraits and family photographs filling my calendar. I have a long list of repeat clients and past brides and grooms that always do their annual family portrait around Thanksgiving time. It's a great time of year because there is still plenty of time to get that recent photograph on a holiday card. With Thanksgiving week upon us I'm very excited to be heading to be busy this week with some great beach portraits. I'm heading to Sanibel Island for a family reunion with 4 generations! A few smaller family beach pictures also have me on Captiva Island and in Naples. So for the next few weeks I'll happily take sunset portraits on Sanibel over sunsets from airplanes!
