As a destination wedding photographer I get to see some pretty neat things. On Sanibel Island it's not unusual to see a dolphin swim by while we are taking beach portraits. In Mexico it's pretty much the standard to have a mariachi band play to wedding guests during the reception. And it is always awesome. I'm a sucker for a good mariachi band, but when they are there to kick off a wedding celebration this photographer is doing everything to stop from dancing (and pretending I know enough Spanish to sing along). So if you are considering some destination wedding locations and you are thinking about doing a Mexico wedding, make sure you have a mariachi band there! And also make sure and bring me along :) I have had the opportunity photograph weddings all over Mexico and I've yet to be a part of one that wasn't amazing. From Playa Del Carmen to a Zihuatanejo wedding (where this amazing ocean villa wedding was). I will never say no to being the photographer for a romantic Mexico wedding!!!
