Creating the official documentation of a wedding through images that will be cherished by generations of people is an enormous responsibility. I imagine grandchildren holding pictures that I created for couples. That responsibility is something that I take very seriously. Photography is a skill that I am constantly working to perfect (even after a lifetime, a degree and many years in business!). And weddings are a passion that I am always looking to know every detail of, from what is trendy to what is timeless. I have immersed myself in both aspects of my career.
Sophia and Arnold are two amazing souls that overwhelmingly reminded me of the importance of the wedding ceremony and the images that capture it. Both very spiritual people, I knew from first meeting them that the day was held in the highest regard. Their friends and families gathered on Sanibel Island at Casa Ybel Resort to lovingly support this sweet couple. Every wedding day is special, but on this beautiful January day in Florida, I don't know of a more special place I could have been. It was great to be witness to their love, it was inspirational to see their devotion and it was an honor to be their photographer.
