This tropical Jewish wedding had me shouting mazel tov! Amy and Scott were married at South Seas Resort on Captiva Island in the most beautiful Florida wedding ceremony. They exchanged vows on the beach. The ceremony was complete with a Jewish wedding chuppah and some very heartfelt vows. There wasn't a dry eye on the beach when the bride and groom said "I Do!"
After the couple was married in a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony at Sunset Cove on the tip of Captiva Island a tented wedding reception was held on the grounds of the resort. After the ceremony their guests were escorted back to the South Seas Island Resort golf course where a tent was set up and they began the celebration. The couple opt to take a romantic walk down the beach to get to their party. We tagged along and stopped on the way for a few pictures and even came across a group of birds that were a neat addition to the wedding day photographs! Their wedding pictures were definitely unique with that extra fun surprise!
The couple enjoyed their evening at South Seas Resort with their guests. There is something extra special about a Florida destination wedding and Captiva and Sanibel Island are truly the best wedding destination. The location is a tropical dream and definitely a place that makes a wedding day extra special. I've been so very lucky to be a part of tons of weddings on the islands and I'm looking forward to being the photographer for several more beautiful island celebrations over the coming months!
