Captiva Island Wedding - South Seas Resort Photographer

We are doing a little website updating this week and had to add this intimate South Seas Resort wedding to our gallery of events! Their adorably sweet wedding day and very fun contemporary style were too perfect to not add to our gallery! Here are a few of the images from their wedding day.  Abby and Kevin had an amazing and unique style for their wedding. Oragami cranes and fun citrus color details decorated their beach wedding ceremony. Guests arrived by trolley and were greeted by the beautiful and secluded South Seas Resort beach setting.

 Abby appeared from behind the trolley to make her walk down the sandy aisle with her father by her side and Kevin getting his first look at his beautiful bride! Their ceremony was held at the Sunset Cove and was officiated by Naples pastor, Dr. Dan Lamey.

 The ceremony ended just in time to catch the sun setting over the gulf. The couple took a moment to enjoy the beautiful setting while we captured some romantic wedding pictures. The couple both loved a documentary photography style and we focused on capturing the moments of their day as well as the two newlyweds enjoying each other and their time on Captiva. Their preferred style was a perfect fit for Impressions Photography.

Who doesn't love a perfect Captiva Island sunset?!

 Their intimate wedding reception was held in the Presidents Room at South Seas Resort. The room is a small section of the King's Crown (the more popular larger dining room). It is a wonderful setting for groups that don't need all of the space and want a romantic wedding venue. The couple picked a unique arrangement of flowers and candles. The coral color was perfect for a tropical wedding feel and the modern hanging candles brought a fun vibe to the room as well.

 

It was a huge treat for the Impressions Photography crew to work with Kevin and Abby as well as all of their wedding guests and family! Their destination wedding was the most beautiful thing to happen on Captiva Island that day and we were very thrilled to be there to capture all of their wedding day pictures!
